PROJECT OVERVIEW

As we all know, children are the future. They hold the world in their hands, and SUMMIT is a brand that places them at the forefront. 

SUMMIT needed a brand that not only reflected its values of integrity, community, diversity, and quality but also told a meaningful story—one of heritage, education, and belonging. More than just a retail store with afterschool programs, SUMMIT aims to foster a community where children and families, especially those from immigrant backgrounds, can find culturally relevant resources that help them embrace and celebrate their identities.

Gunita Studios developed a brand that feels warm, welcoming, and deeply intentional, ensuring that every aspect of the brand fosters trust and a sense of belonging. For the website, our focus was on clarity, accessibility, and storytelling. We designed an intuitive platform where families, educators, and community members can seamlessly explore books, toys, and educational kits—all carefully sourced to reflect the cultures they represent. 

For us at Gunita Studios, this project was about more than design—it was about representation, storytelling, and creating a brand that leaves a lasting impact on the communities it serves.
